About Cowabunga Comics & Collectibles

 

Nestled in the heart of downtown Green Cove Springs Florida, Cowabunga Comics and Art Gallery is a pop culture playground, created by comic book artist Kyle Willis, that stocks several eras of comics, has a HUGE dollar bin selection as well as omnibuses and trade paperbacks.

In addition to comics and collectibles, Cowabunga Comics and Art Gallery represents fine art paintings, hand- crafted journals, sketch books, hand turned wands, photography and even mosaic work all created by local area artists. 

Cowabunga Comics founder, Kyle Willis is an American artist and comic book enthusiast based in Florida. As an established professional comic book artist, Kyle has done cover work for Image Comics, Orange Cone Productions, Shattermare Comics, Counterpoint, Mad Cave, Scout Comics, Massive Publishing and IDW. 

Kyle Willis is known for depicting images from pop culture and creating mash-ups that bridge the gap between fan art and fine art, with inspiration from comic books, movies and music. Kyle has explored several mediums ranging from ballpoint pen to acrylic paintings to mosaic art made from thousands of pieces of cut up comic book pages and other media.

Kyle owns and operates Cowabunga Comics in green Cove Springs, Florida where he has combined his passion for art and comics to create a unique experience for fans and collectors alike.
