What Is STOW?

STOW, short for Squad Take Over Weekend, is a four-day online comic convention and live art event created by Cowabunga Comics. It is an explosion of comics, creativity, community, camaraderie and just the right amount of mayhem, streamed live from the Cowabunga Dojo in Palatka, Florida.

STOW is what happens when the convention experience is curated specifically for comic collectors. No flights. No convention-weekend hotel prices. No overpriced parking or standing in the sun waiting to get inside. STOW brings the artists, retailers, exclusive comics and live convention experience directly to your phone, wherever you happen to be watching.

For at least four days, 12 comic book retailers will gather at the Dojo alongside four incredible artists: RZP, Chadwick Coleman, Jeff Whiting and STOW host Kyle Willis.

Throughout the event, you will get an up-close look at how these artists work. Watch in real time as they sign comics, paint upgraded signatures and create one-of-a-kind remarques, jam pieces and original sketch covers. Every brushstroke, signature and questionable decision will be captured live and transmitted directly to the palm of your hand.

This is not a prerecorded demonstration or a traditional convention livestream. STOW is interactive. Collectors can communicate with the artists through the show hosts, ask questions, request creative direction and become active participants as the artwork comes to life.

You will also meet the artists behind this year’s STOW exclusive comic books and have opportunities to claim original artwork and collectibles created during the event.

RZP, Chadwick Coleman, Jeff Whiting and Kyle Willis will paint until they drop. Twelve retailers will bring the books, exclusives and surprises. You just have to show up.
