DC Vertigo 2026: 100 Bullets, Nice House by the Sea, and Everthing You Need to Know

Vertigo Is Back, and DC Has a Plan to Get You Hooked

DC Comics is pulling a smart move to build buzz for the return of Vertigo. Starting in January 2026, readers picking up Absolute titles will find preview pages from the new Vertigo lineup tucked inside. It's a clever way to cross-pollinate two of DC's hottest initiatives and get the Absolute audience curious about what Vertigo has cooking.

The previews kick off with Absolute Wonder Woman #16, which will include a six-page sneak peek of The Nice House by the Sea #7. From there, DC plans to roll out age-appropriate Vertigo previews across the entire Absolute line through February.

About Vertigo Comics

Vertigo Comics was an imprint of DC Comics known for mature, creator-driven storytelling that pushed the boundaries of traditional superhero comics. Launched in the early 1990s, Vertigo became home to influential series like Sandman, Hellblazer, Preacher, and Y: The Last Man, focusing on darker themes, psychological depth, and literary storytelling.

Vertigo helped legitimize comics as a medium for adult readers, emphasizing original voices, experimental art styles, and stories that often stood outside mainstream continuity. Today, Vertigo titles remain highly respected and collectible for their impact on modern comic storytelling.
